In sewing tools I feel like I should have been using all along, and always knew I should, but somehow only have now done: A pressing cloth.

I'm currently working with a wool mix, the mystery mix component of which melts if you touch it directly with too hot an iron, so I overlocked a little square of leftover linen gauze and put a loop on it, so I could hang it next to my ironing board... And it's so nice. So nice!
