In Baltimore there were (and perhaps still are?) a lot of Freemasons. They built this monument to George Washington.

I revere Washington, who refused a crown, and I'm not trying to dis the 'masons.

But I feel, given what I know about him, if Washington somehow saw this he would be embarrassed.
