But I remember them being very pushy about it back in the day, which made me not like the whole thing.
Also IIRC a lot of their later changes were going in the direction of centralization / vendor lock-in, and noe that they've been acquired, I'm guessing keybase isn't worth a second look.
As for the device system itself... do you know how it handled encrypting files?
