The FT is running a sob story about "middle class" (on £210k a year) parents threatened by Labour's policy of adding VAT on private schools.

And I simply can't muster any sympathy *at all*. These people describing themselves as "hand to mouth" mostly elicit contempt.

These people being forced to care about state schools is the whole effing point.
