I "broke free" during covid - At the time, I was teaching in FE, and I used my experiences in distance learning to rapidly design an entire engineering maths course to support my students online. Their grades went up!
End of covid, dictats from "on high" - "get back to work you lazy ****s". Grades went back to where they were. All down to classroom dynamics.
I left shortly afterwards when we fled to Cymru - never happier.
There are none so blind as those that will not see!
