TikTok was cool for a while there when it was convincing teens to culture jam crypto-fascism and being a positive window into other cultures and niche interests (like kdramas and sea shanties!), but now every time I see a trend it's like... toxic mental health advice, conspiracy theories, or such ahistorical totally uninformed takes on geopolitics that they're not even wrong.
