What percentage of your first draft ends up in the trash?
Not a lot. I don't do separate drafts, just edit & revise one per book, but the first incarnations are always bare bones & need more added. If I edit portions out, they always first go into a separate "edits" document to await their ultimate fate. A passage might be repurposed, either within the same manuscript or another, at a later point. Very few things are actually trashed.
