I went looking for cicadas molting and was nearly drained of all my blood by swarms of mosquitoes. I think the cicadas are paying the mosquitoes to act as some sort of security team. They're tired of being harassed by people like me with cameras and just want to be left alone. I guess that makes me cicada paparazzi. #cicadas2024 #photography #cicadarazzi
