The official Western narrative about the war in Ukraine is looking increasingly absurd.
Ukraine is burning through its fighting-age population at a prodigious rate, its supporters are running out of weapons to sent, its infrastructure is being destroyed, its economy is only barely functioning with massive external financial aid, it continues to lose territory under its control, and popular support for the war is waning in Nato countries.
While all this is happening, Russia is about to send hundreds of thousands of freshly trained and armed troops into the conflict and may soon get the active support (likely drones) from China.
And yet we are being told that negotiations can only begin when Russia has been pushed back to its pre-2014 borders?
