Thanks to Vimjoyer, I found this awesome tool that makes managing #Nix and #NixOS easier. It's basically a wrapper for nixos-rebuild and home-manager that adds things like package update summaries, derivate visualization, more thorough garbage collection, and being able to specify "keep the last X generations"
