One of the things realizing you have #ADHD can do for you is help you give yourself permission to *stop following advice on productivity from neurotypicals*.
I don't mean it's never useful, but I've adopted some "productivity" beliefs that have really served to make me more unproductive.
Like: "Turn off all distractions and don't multitask."
I realized lately that I get *more* work done with the TV on than off most of the time because I can't stay on task when my brain is understimulated.
