However, the meeting was cancelled after families of kidnapped victims and some participants, including representatives of Bank of Israel, refused to participate due to the difficult situation of the captives. The families and other participants called for the meeting to be cancelled, and after a half-hour of heated speeches, the decision was made to adjourn the meeting. The atmosphere remained tense, and despite attempts to restart the discussion, the meeting was ultimately cancelled."
