Question for Mastadon's #astronomy folks. My wife and I are in the process of buying our first house in a low light pollution zone, because of this, I want to look at options to make my setup easier to use at home.
What would be required at minimum to safely leave my telescope "outside" permanently. A full on insulated shed with climate control? A simple shed that just keeps the moisture out with minimal or no insulation, a simple tent?
I want to get a handle on the "bare minimum" so I can work up from there. If it matters, I use a simple 8" Dobsonian telescope. No electronics or anything like that (yet)
