Not only that, starting from the OS to social media apps, reliance on closed source software does not make sense anymore. The FOSS solutions are not mere alternatives, practically, tool for tool they offer far better choices, and most importantly, you can tweak them to how you like. It’s not by chance that proprietary software houses such as MS are now embracing (and planning to extend and extinguish) free and open source tools.
