the fatal weakness of this weapon is that it requires a significant amount of time to "warm up" before it can be effectively used. for the blade to do any meaningful damage upon impact it needs to generate maximum rotation speed before striking. after each hit the momentum and power is lost and leaves the wielder extremely vulnerable to opponents while they try and build the necessary spinning force again.
