Things I want to see in an SoC, in order of preference:

1. Mainline support (Linux and u-boot minimum)
2. Lots of I/O
3. Good boot story (mainline u-boot or edk2 via Flash)

Everything else is nice to have. VisionFive has all three and a lot of nice to haves, so I like it.
