Found out that a person I know apparently died. Given their let’s call it a loose relationship with the truth, my first thought on hearing about the death was not that this was sad news, but was instead me wondering if this was actually true or just another tall tale or a scam of some sort.

I think I should feel bad about thinking this but I’ve been burned enough times that I don’t at all.
