Unconditional basic income has so many positive outcomes because it operates along three primary pathways: income, security, and equality. Increasing people's income helps people, but so does reducing their insecurity and also reducing the gap between them and everyone else.

That's why UBI has such a strong impact on health. Yes, poverty hurts health, but so does the insecurity of people not in poverty, and so does extreme inequality which hurts social cohesion which hurts health too.
