The Presets have gotten me through some of the hardest times in my life.
From losing my sweet Rosa, stillborn after dying at 26w gestation and fighting the hard fight against Twin to twin transfer syndrome.
My B cell lymphoma diagnosis to radiotherapy and chemotherapy with extensive immunotherapy that failed until I undertook using cord blood matched by HCL and my first born sons stored umbilical cord.
Now again I seek the comfort of being diagnosed again with advanced B cell that's been in remission for ten years.
I always knew it would come back, harder than ever before.
Now though, I don't have the backup of stem cell transplantation with cord blood.
I didn't ever store Jazz and Saxons cords.
I didn't think it was necessary given I was already in remission in 2013.
Ten years later, I fight the hard fight.
The Presets are there to cushion my down moods and despair feelings.
I feel comforted by that.
It's the only solace support network I've got.
