The thing about Twitter was that it was very good at helping you 'find your people' — but the result was like looking in a funhouse mirror that reflected all your most annoying traits back at you.

I feel like this is a problem with social media — and also dating apps — more generally: there's this presumption that we should be looking for 'a match', but human relationships don't really work like that...

I don't have a solution to this problem btw lol
