* Elementary (he's modern Sherlock Holmes)
* The Mentalist (he's an ex-showman doing mind tricks)
* Castle (he's a mystery novelist)
* White Collar (he's a semi-reformed forger)

Are there other shows out there using the same tired out (but still enjoyable and comforting) format?
