2: Sight on a mountain peak with a device capable of giving accurate azimuth angle. The farther away the better, because the numbers get bigger and errors matter less.
3: Get the distance and elevation data you need from a topo map
4: Do the math and see if the angle is what it should be
5: Announce your reproducible method of checking the curvature on a video or such
6: Profit
There is really no point in doing anything at all if you are not going to bother to actually check. Same as with Flat Earth Deboonker Cater. ALL of his arguments were pointless.
