Chris Trottier (nprofile…rtmv) I had a separate Dolby noise reduction system for my TEAC reel-to-reel, and when using metal tape at 2x recording speed, it was completely indistinguishable from source. It was glorious, but a bit expensive for my budget. It had a rated 40 kHz range, and I believe it.
