The reason JavaScript is good for a backend is because it's just a frontend to a database anyway. The database needs to be written in C or Rust or Go or whatever, but the backend doesn't. Your frontend is just a frontend to another frontend. If you're using an embedded database I would highly recommend not using JavaScript, otherwise it's kino.
