My cat kept climbing on top of this cabinet, knocking things out of his way. I kept shooing him down from the top of this cabinet, and fussing about having to pick up the things he kept knocking down.

He and I have reached a compromise.

He climbs on top of the cabinet, knocking things out of his way. And, I pick up the things he knocked down.
