This is why I gave up gardening. The last summer I plants a vegetable garden the squirrels took ONE bite out of everything. Tomatoes, carrots, cuc, zucchini, and dug up the radishes. Between the slugs and squirrels, I was basically wasting water nothing edible.
Another tenant took it over and (with my warning) had the same result even using nets, mesh, and chicken wire layered.
