MUST VENT BEFORE I BLOW A GASKET. A friend texted last Friday that she was stopping by, and did I have honey. I responded yes, she responded she would bring yard eggs from her flock. I got the honey bagged up, went on my business, but tried to work near the house so I wouldn’t miss her. Day comes and goes, no show fren, no text. Saturday, same thing. Get a text Sunday night, explaining that her day got upside down. I was kind/understanding. Happens like this all week, she texts yesterday, asking honey quex, wants some for a friend, so I get more honey ready for her, which sits in the cold. Today, she says she is definitely stopping by. Today, I am hyper-slammed in prep for tomorrow’s early and late farmers market. I will feel bad if I miss her, but I refuse to let flakey frens run me off course and then hate myself for allowing intrusions. END OF RANT.
