On this day in 2024, Bitcoin entered epoch V and the block subsidy was halved from 6.25 to 3.125 coins per block. With each epoch, Bitcoin moves to a new level of “glory.” Here, we are reminded that believers entered a new epoch 2,000 years ago when Jesus fulfilled the law of the Old Testament. We no longer need the regular sacrifice of bulls and lambs; we have the blood of Jesus.
