The funny thing about the 1983 "V" mini-series - they're clearly doing an analogy with the aliens standing in as the Nazis and, of all people, scientists standing in as the Jews. But it's just so ridiculous it doesn't really work. Watching this kid walking home all beat up because she won the science fair, and the bullies called her "A dirty little scientist's kid" - sorry, but I can't not crack up at that.
