It would be up to the clients (readers/writers) to make sure to support the authoring/editing and refreshing, yes?

I remember npub12h000zgwm9jqdkpqk3r6397kytp69mf2jud3nlkmw2gcwnp9e2ysxce7sz (npub12h0…e7sz) hinting at what a next generation platform-agnostic Twitterrific would look like (my words, not his) and I think he eluded to it supporting RSS.
