γραμματεύς
grammateuvs grammateus {gram-mat-yooce'}
from 1121. a writer, i.e. (professionally) scribe or secretary:--scribe, town-clerk.
see GREEK for 1121

An ordinary Bible verse can tell you some significant things about the Bible. This example is from Matthew 8:19 of the New Testament - King James version.
Consistently using today's technology in research the ancient Greek is translated and we can see that.
A "scribe" is a "grammateus". This is important as the Trivium of Grammar, Rhetoric and Mathematics was a recognized discipline. The translation to the King James Version is based on those very grammatic rules. Many critics including myself said, Oh we don't know who wrote the Bible... In fact we do and various Greek texts only differ slightly but collaborate the messages.
