Unfortunately for me, that air show leaves a sour taste in my mouth. My brother and I tried to attend, but the RNZAF, who had proven many times over they could run such an event themselves, and very well at that, elected to sub-contract traffic management and it was a nightmare.
We were underneath this lot at about this time, still nowhere near the entrance. Not like we were strangers to Ohakea shows, either. We were sent on a wild goose chase.
