Didn't say anything before but our dog Daphne has been having some weird behaviour recently. Temporarily losing the control of one of her front legs. This moved on to a back leg too. Spasming, almost like a brief seizure or the like.
Vet initially said it might be an old injury so she's been on rest, no walks at all the last 2 weeks. Saw another vet, neurology specialist, who was much more certain and reassuring last night.
Took her out today, off lead/leash in her favourite spot. My god, the zoomies, she was possessed, tearing about, so happy bless her. Found a little terrier buddy, she's spinning around on the spot, daring him to chase her, which he did. Pure joy.
Little things in life, small pleasures, moments of gratitude for joy and vitality. Makes a big difference if you're a silly Whippet or a soft old man.
