I still have all of my darkroom equipment and several old cameras. The paper and chemicals have gotten very expensive since so few companies still make them. You can still find film and get it processed but again, few places doing it.
I agree about the digital photos. They always seem to look flatter than film photos. Of course, they can be touched up, but they don't look the same.
