Great Kiskadee Santa Ana NWR Texas by Debra Martz
We were on the Willow Lakes trail and I had been watching the large variety of waterfowl and shorebirds. Then I heard the unmistakable call of the Kiskadee. I looked around the reeds & finally spotted it high in the trees near the water's edge on the opposite side of where I stood.
