Well the mirroring is not automatic, I have to run CI jobs to handle that. And yes the self hosting part is a pretty big deal especially if you are hosting assets to download as well. I manage my own OneDev server, along with all the automation, multiple agent servers with different architecture (I build for Windows too) along with all the other production servers. I also do lots of this for
GitCitadel (npub1s3h…75wz) which is fun.
Lately it's been a lot of learn on my stuff and deploy on for GC.
Personally for a single dev or a small team I think OneDev is the way to go. They also offer hosted options (Enterprise plan) so you don't have to muck with all the servers.
