And of course I found a book about it. Home Fires Burning: History of Domestic Heating and Cooking, headed my way. Printed in the '60's and buying used with a terrible listing pic. I'll get a better one when it arrives.
Whenever I have to move from this apartment, I am going to maybe momentarily regret my book buying impulses.😅
