earlier today i had an aesthetic rendering idea, where instead of 3d objects rotating/scaling/translating/animating, instead you use stickfigure-esque wireframes and draw voxels wherever those lines are. So an animated figure in this scheme would be many appearing/disappearing voxels, sort of like how a pixelized 2D animation is many pixels appearing/disappearing, and you might pixelize a 2D figure for visual effect
