In early 2021, I was struggling financially. Spent some time working at Walmart to load orders for customers doing curbside pickup. I couldn't afford the COVID-19 "just stay home" privilege.
I was stunned by some of the orders I put into customers' vehicles. I couldn't imagine spending so much money on one grocery order.
I'm now at a point where I don't worry about being able to buy food. But, I won't forget anytime soon the thought that I would need to start foraging to have something to eat.
