Man, I got pissed at NPR this morning.

Some commentator was asked why Trump had flip-flopped from wanting to ban Tik Tok.

I thought, "Oh great, here's the chance to reveal government corruption and the fact that he's been bought off by donors."

Nope. The feckless commentator said that Trump may have changed his mind because he was "listening to the people." WTF. The interviewer didn't even challenge him.

WE all know that flip-flopper Mango Mussolini doesn't listen to anyone, especially "the people." He sells out to the highest bidder, which in this case is Jeff Yass.

"Trump would go on to court Jeff Yass, a major Republican donor and one of the largest investors in TikTok’s Chinese parent company, ByteDance. Yass also reportedly donated to Accuracy in Media, which funded the doxxing of pro-Palestinian college students."

And, yes, I know NPR has been compromised for quite some time now. But, wow, they are really sinking to new lows right when we need every media outlet to stand up and fight.

I don't even use Tik Tok, but that's not what this story is about. It's about how the will of the people is undermined by the bribery and influence of the wealthy and powerful. And about how our media outlets should be reporting the hard truth but instead are obeying in advance, and by doing so are digging us deeper into a fascist state.
