Floor is world map (mosaic?)
10 columns rising from regions (Europe, Mideast, Asia, india, etc, etc...). Timeline on each column 25 BC to 25 AD. Each century takes 10 cm, so columns are 5m tall.
Colours show area of influence of major empires, cultures.
Stone carved text of major events, kings, battles, science, art, literature... with dates on each column.
"Temple of History" or lobby of history faculty at university.
Small 3D copies of each column sold as souvenirs, for educational purposes.
