Back in the day, if a man said he knows what a woman feels he was laughed at by women because the thought of a man having any idea what it feels like to have breasts, a period, give birth, go through puberty, have pressures of society, etc etc was an ignorant thing to say.
Now when a man says he knows what it feels like to be a woman he is given "woman of the year", he is allowed into women only spaces, and held up as an example for what all women can strive to be.
IMO it is insulting to women that society has let men take over their spaces, win their awards, and take credit for their accomplishments.
