I'm getting old. I've never played D&D. I've wanted to for a long time. I had some friends who played and I dropped many hints, but they either had a full roster or they weren't as good friends as I thought and I never got an invite.

I'd like to set up a group but I don't have a clue how to get started. I've watched a lot of yt vids but they're all talking about subtle aspects when I need the main instruction, or something. Maybe I need to watch games/campaigns being played.

Can anyone help?
