Update: my dog seemed to have a good day today. This evening, he was getting around fine. Mornings are rough. He’s probably in a lot of pain at times, though it’s very hard for us to tell, since he doesn’t always show it. We’re helping him manage it with pain killers.
At any rate, we have a plan in place for when we need to make a final decision, and that decision will come soon.
