As a bit of a background, the current fascist opposition, who are about to seize power early next year, has a very wobbly "go nuke" plan. Which experts agree is basically about getting another 25 years for natural gas suppliers which were (and are) heavily subsidised by Australian Government's even though they are immensely profitable for the private operators.
N.B. CSIRO is not just a random desktop think tank but a highly respected and objective Government Science Organisation, which among other things invented Wi-Fi (Queue some random yank to claim "aksully it was Bell labs")
