Is the best guide to Trump's playbook the last decade or more of Viktor Orbán's 'transformation' of Hungary?
There are clear links & parallels, and so perhaps what we are seeing is the way a successful political 'experiment' in one country can become the template for another leader with autocratic tendencies trying to neuter a democracy.
If so, things don't look so great for 'liberal' America... but I guess we knew that already
