Thank you! I reached out to
LeatherMint (npub1v0t…3m3e) and he gave some pointers (shared a video of sewing a seam with leather. I was over-complicating how the repair might be done. All this is is sewing back a loop on the side of the boot. I originally thought the seam was separating.
I’m going to find the right type of thread and try to do the repair. The wholes are already there. What could possibly go wrong? LOL
BTW… there used to be a guy on Kelly Road (about a min east of EHOVE) who did leather work. I thought about stopping at his house to see what style of work he did. Sign is gone now.
