the thing that did bother me was the same thing that bothers anyone brought up on archlinux, now on something else: the aur doesn't exist on fedora. unless you keep your list of applications very short, you will spend some time interfacing with third party repositories. these packages were usually available as flatpaks (enabled by default) which was more than a little frustrating to me
