i don't think it's fine to throw your relatives in a retirement home nursing home etc. it actually disgusts me greatly, the only time i think it cna be justified is if they were proper bastards to you and even then it's like *shrug* i dunno, he has been good to me my whole life despite not even being my blood, he's the only grandpa i've known tho, so i promised him he'd never go to a nursing home.
