⚡️🇺🇸 NEW - Carl Rinsch, the director of "47 Ronin", is accused of defrauding Netflix and embezzling $11 million, intended for his "White Horse" series, to invest in cryptocurrencies and buy luxury goods.
He faces up to 90 years in prison.
His production company had already received $44 million from Netflix before the additional $11 million funding request.
According to the indictment, Rinsch's crypto investments "ultimately proved profitable".

Rinsch reportedly used these gains to spend $2.4 million on five Rolls-Royces and a Ferrari, $3.7 million on furniture and antiques, $652,000 on watches and clothing and $638,000 on two mattresses, as well as $295,000 on luxury bedding and linens.
